Stored Energy Systems (SENS) is an award-winning manufacturer of premium power conversion products based in Longmont, Colorado. The Process Automation Engineer will identify, define, design, implement, and support artificial intelligence (AI) and business process automation solutions across the organization. Reporting to the Director of Business Process Excellence, this role serves as a strategic and technical partner to all business functions, defining, developing, and delivering solutions that automate repetitive administrative tasks, reduce handoffs between departments, minimize manual touches, improve efficiency, and accelerate growth through AI and automation technologies.

Responsibilities - Serve as a trusted advisor to Operations, Engineering, Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and HR. - Gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions. - Define, design, develop, deliver, and support automated business processes. - Establish, deploy, and maintain secure private AI and Large Language Model (LLM) platforms, including on-premises deployments, to protect company data, intellectual property, and customer information remain protected. - Develop and maintain AI knowledge systems that leverage internal engineering, product, quality, service, and operational data while ensuring information remains secure and accessible only to authorized users.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or related field. - 3+ years of relevant experience in business process optim
