Trainer - QA Team Lead is responsible for training new and retraining existing staff on revenue cycle processes, including registration, payer plan training, scanning, charge entry, Epic work queues, payment posting, refunds, accounts receivable follow-up, and other revenue cycle functions within the FPBO. The role collaborates with FPBO Directors, Managers, Supervisors, and Client Service Representatives to provide Quality Assurance audits, analyze billing procedures, and develop training solutions that facilitate issue resolution. The incumbent must understand payer issues affecting billing and collections for all payer types and communicate key information regarding best practices for each unit within FPBO. Key responsibilities include training and mentoring staff, developing and maintaining training materials, conducting QA audits, and translating findings into training improvements. Education and Experience: High School diploma or GED required; Associates Degree preferred. Minimum two years of ambulatory health care, billing, or training experience required. Minimum two years' experience in Commercial Contract or Managed Medi-Cal billing, auditing, and collecting. Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of adult learning theory and practice, LLUHC business operations, and current software applications.
