Hoyle Tanner is seeking a Senior Wastewater Project Manager to lead our wastewater practice in Massachusetts. You will manage wastewater projects for municipal, educational, commercial, and industrial clients from study through design and construction, while supporting business development and client relationships. The role combines technical leadership, project management, and mentoring to deliver projects on time and within budget while protecting public health and the environment. Responsibilities include overseeing study, design, and construction phases for wastewater projects (treatment plant upgrades, process improvements, modeling, solids handling, and capacity enhancements); driving financial performance through budgeting and forecasting; ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations; building and leading a Massachusetts-based wastewater team; coordinating with subconsultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies; implementing quality management plans; and identifying opportunities for municipal and utility clients. Requirements include a BS or MS in Civil Engineering (Sanitary/Environmental preferred), 20+ years of wastewater experience, PE licensed in Massachusetts (or able to obtain in NH/ME/VT), strong communication and client management skills.
