Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) in London, United Kingdom. Apple Services Engineering (ASE) builds and supports the systems that power the daily experiences Apple customers rely on. The Private Cloud Compute (PCC) team extends the security and privacy of Apple devices into the cloud, enabling intelligent services while protecting user privacy. This SRE team owns the availability and automation of PCC’s critical systems and services, helping deliver cloud intelligence at scale. Responsibilities

Qualifications (preferred):

Operate and scale managed Kubernetes in public clouds (GKE/EKS; GCP/AWS experience preferred)
Deploy, support, and supervise new and existing services, platforms, and application stacks
Conduct scale testing, disaster recovery planning, and capacity planning
Automate repetitive manual processes to improve efficiency
Develop software using Java, Swift, Python, or TypeScript
Work with Nginx, Envoy, Prometheus, and Docker
Strong understanding of networking protocols (HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP) and Linux systems
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and config-as-code tooling (Pulumi, Terraform)
Experience with fleet/cluster lifecycle management and hardware reliability at scale
Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines for cloud infrastructure
