Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a Senior Verification & Validation Test Engineer to support the MUOS program. The role leads verification and validation efforts for space and ground end-to-end tests and on-orbit system validation, coordinating with Space, Ground, and Test Bed vendors as well as Government Program Office personnel and prime contractors. Responsibilities include developing and implementing test strategies, plans, and procedures based on system requirements; evaluating verification and validation activities to ensure specifications and user needs are met; supporting planning, execution, and documentation of MUOS ground and SLE space demonstrations; identifying, tracking, and reporting defects; maintaining detailed test documentation; reviewing contractor data and providing acceptance or rejection recommendations; reporting status to the Government V&V Lead, Chief Engineer, and program leadership; collaborating with cross-functional teams; contributing to risk assessments and program schedules and cost estimates. Qualifications include a minimum of 10 years in DoD communications system Test & Evaluation, at least 5 years in system engineering for satellite communications, and at least 5 years in system integration in lab and operational environments.
