This role oversees FA activities for technology and product development, reliability assessment, and quality assurance, guiding the team through cutting-edge wide band-gap, GaN and related technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on FA experience across a broad spectrum of technologies, proven leadership in building and scaling teams, and a track record of establishing internal FA lab capability and selecting appropriate tools.

Key Responsibilities: - Lead and participate in failure analysis investigations for technology and product development; supervise a team of FA engineers. - Direct operation of FA tools including hotspot detection and FIB/SEM; evaluate, select, acquire, and qualify equipment. - Influence process and product development strategies to improve performance and reliability, reduce external FA dependency, and improve FA execution efficiency. - Build and manage a high-performing FA team across MACOM’s process and product portfolios; allocate resources to meet project schedules. - Communicate project updates to senior management, including budgeting, lab space management, and staffing requirements. - Interface with process and product development, wafer fab operations, and quality assurance to ensure FA activities meet stakeholder needs. - Present results through final engineering reports and defend recommen
