Alltrista Plastics LLC, a Jadex Inc. subsidiary and a leading manufacturer of high-volume, precision injection molded parts, is seeking a Plant Controller for its Springfield, Missouri facility. The Plant Controller will serve as the proactive financial leader on the plant management team and will support the division with accurate forecasting, reporting, and analysis in line with corporate directives. Responsibilities include maintaining the cost accounting system, updating quotes and standards for raw materials and finished goods, reconciling WIP GL balances to the subledger, monitoring variances, and ensuring the plant general ledger adheres to GAAP and company policies. The role also involves subledger reconciliations, preparing operating budgets and forecasts, directing the financial affairs of the facility with division support, leading weekly and monthly sales forecasting, and managing fixed assets and capital spending reporting. Additional tasks include performing capital project financial analyses and providing ROI documentation, while fostering continuous improvement within the facility. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting; 3–5 years of general accounting experience in manufacturing; 6–12 years of experience in financial analysis and reporting using spreadsheets and financial software; ability to work independently and provide strong financial leadership; knowledge of budgeting principles, accounting practices, and information systems; ability to handle confidential information.
