The Staff Accountant will maintain accurate records, prepare financial reports, and assist with month-end and year-end close processes to ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling the general ledger and inventory accounts, supporting fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules, assisting with accounts payable and receivable, and producing GAAP-compliant financial statements for internal and external stakeholders. The role collaborates with operations and supply chain teams to understand the financial impact of production activities and supports audits and tax filings by preparing schedules and documentation. It also involves identifying process improvements to increase efficiency, providing guidance to other accounting staff, and performing other duties as assigned; regular and predictable attendance is expected. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, 2+ years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel. Preferred qualifications include 3+ years in manufacturing or industrial settings, experience with cost accounting and inventory management, familiarity with lean manufacturing, and CPA or progress toward certification is a plus.
