As a core technical contributor, you will design, develop, test, deploy, and operate production-grade software that enables high-volume payment initiation and distributed systems. You will provide technical leadership across application design, system integration, data flow, resiliency patterns, and operational readiness for business-critical payment platforms. You will work with product, operations, architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to deliver capabilities aligned with business objectives and risk expectations. You will champion engineering excellence through code quality, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, chaos/resilience testing, and secure software practices, and lead communities of practice to promote modern engineering patterns. Required qualifications include formal training or hands-on experience in software engineering or distributed systems; advanced proficiency in Java and object-oriented design; experience designing and operating distributed systems in high-scale, low-latency environments; practical experience with event-driven architectures and Kafka; SQL and/or NoSQL experience; understanding of payment processing, payout flows, idempotency, and auditability; and cloud-native experience with containers, orchestration, and automation.
