Extreme Reach is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant to join our global finance team in Budapest on a hybrid basis. In this role, you will be responsible for supplier account creation and maintenance, processing supplier invoices, preparing and executing payments, and reconciling supplier ledgers across our subsidiaries. You will need a hands-on, organized approach and strong relationship-building skills to cooperate with suppliers and internal partners. The role requires the ability to manage multiple ledgers, follow established processes, and communicate progress and issues to key stakeholders. Key responsibilities include: - Compile and process supplier invoices, including cost analysis and reporting - Obtain approval from the relevant approver - Ensure correct coding of invoices and expenses - Review supplier statements; identify overdue invoices and unallocated payments - Manage supplier inquiries by phone or email - Process supplier payments per schedule - Reconcile bank accounts regularly - Maintain supplier accounts and creditor ledgers - Participate in month-end and year-end close and reporting - Check staff expenses and company card expenses - Assist with audit queries - Support other finance functions as required - Maintain ethical standards and report potential risks - Collaborate with stakeholders and participate in team activities. Education & Experience: 2-3 years in Accounts Payable; SSC experience is an advantage; degree preferred.
