Account Manager – 12-month Fixed Term Contract Client: M&S; Agency: ITG

We are seeking an Account Manager to coordinate and facilitate the production and delivery of in-store Point of Sale (POS) materials for the M&S account. The role supports the Account Director across business units and focuses on verification, accuracy, and timely artwork approval through our Media Centre system.

Key responsibilities: - Receive briefs from the Account Director or directly from M&S Marketing, clearly communicating timelines, templates, and costings. - Link briefs to M&S Planning Managers and manage relationships between M&S Marketing and Planning to ensure campaigns run smoothly and artwork is approved on time. - Lead pre-production meetings per campaign to ensure a finalized artwork brief from M&S Marketing. - Maintain relationships with the ITG Artwork Production Team (based in Birmingham) and flag urgent or large campaigns in advance with realistic deadlines. - Brief final artwork to ITG Production using pre-approved templates, ensuring adequate time for production and pre-planning to avoid bottlenecks. - Manage information from M&S business units, create detailed production and artwork briefs, and maintain print allocations for POS via our systems RULE & Media Centre. - Ensure printers are engaged by deadlines, manage workload, and track Purchase Orders and final artwork timings. - Keep POS cost trackers up to date and communicate costs with ITG Account Director, M&S Planning Managers, and M&S Marketing. - Ensure Purchase Orders are raised
