Reliability Engineer — Permanent, full-time role with hybrid working arrangements based in Crawley or Newport, United Kingdom. AerFin is a global aviation aftermarket specialist that buys, sells, leases and repairs aircraft, engines and components to maximise asset value for airlines, lessors and MROs. In this role you will join AerFin's Technical team to review Service Bulletins (SBs), Airworthiness Directives (ADs) and OEM technical documentation to assess risk and support asset-related decisions across the aircraft and engine portfolio. You will evaluate modifications and ADs within a commercial aviation aftermarket environment, provide technical support for components undergoing repair and overhaul, and analyse reliability data to identify trends, root causes and opportunities to reduce repair costs. You will also support warranty investigations and collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, MRO and Technical teams on modification standards and their impact on reliability, asset value and acquisitions. You will manage OEM technical subscriptions and access to OEM information, and drive continuous improvement across asset onboarding, inventory management and technical processes. This is a new role with opportunities to shape AerFin's approach to reliability assessment and asset management.
