Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is seeking a LVA Tester Lead for the 1st shift in Asheville, North Carolina. The hourly rate for this position is $28.88 - $32.00 per hour. In this role you will set up, operate, and maintain a variety of test equipment to perform electrical, electronic, and mechanical tests on control equipment. Your responsibilities will include ensuring equipment meets customer specifications as well as safety and quality requirements; maintaining a safe work environment; expanding product and process knowledge; building positive relationships with colleagues and customers; accurately processing paperwork; following procedures with versatility and attention to detail; developing rapport with customers; troubleshooting and developing new test setups and procedures; performing customer witness tests, recording data, and writing reports; repairing warranty and non-warranty issues; and identifying quality issues through proper channels. Qualifications include a two-year Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent military experience; minimum 2 years of experience testing, troubleshooting, evaluating electrical distribution or control systems; previous experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment; experience performing power quality measurements and analysis. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and formal training in continuous improvement.
