Project Manager III – Remediation based in Greenville, South Carolina. This role supports the Remediation team within the Environment business line and is expected to begin immediately. The selected candidate will assist or lead project and program management for soil, groundwater, sediment and surface water investigative and remediation programs, data analysis, and report preparation. The position involves managing AECOM staff, subcontractors, technical delivery, stakeholder engagement and communication, and financial management.

Responsibilities include: overall project management of remedial investigation and remediation sites; applying advanced scientific principles and existing technologies to develop technical solutions for complex problems; interpreting and recording data, conducting analyses, and ensuring compliance with relevant local, state, and federal regulations; working with minimal direction and exercising considerable latitude in determining technical objectives; conducting research and investigation work and planning project investigations; resolving conflicting technical information and adapting standard procedures as needed; performing complex assignments requiring unique solutions; supervising less experienced geologists, engineers and scientists and providing mentorship or training as needed.
