Job Overview: The Software Engineer III Open Stack Engineer will design, develop, and implement data-driven highly scalable solutions supporting Inventory Management, Order Fulfillment, Marketplace, and Supply Chain initiatives. This role partners with business, data science, product, program management, and technology teams to convert optimization analytics and machine learning concepts into reliable production systems. You will own the full development lifecycle from solution design and architecture through cloud deployment, operational support, and continuous improvement.

What you’ll do: - Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable low-latency distributed systems for Marketplace and Inventory Lifecycle initiatives. - Build robust backend microservices, algorithms, and data pipelines using Java and modern engineering practices. - Collaborate with data science, product, program management, and business teams to translate needs into scalable technical solutions. - Lead development activities across architecture, design reviews, coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support. - Implement cloud-native and hybrid solutions including microservices, 12-factor app principles, and reactive patterns. - Develop integrations with distributed databases, relational databases, caching technologies, and messaging platforms. - Optimize high-throughput streaming and batch data pipelines for analytics, data modeling, and optimization workloads. - Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute
