About the role

Indicium AI is seeking a Forward Deployed Software Engineer to help establish our US presence from New York. The role is hands-on and leadership-driven, requiring you to embed directly within tier-one client engineering organizations to transform developer experience, modernize SDLC workflows, and co-engineer production AI systems. This is a player-coach position combining technical depth with commercial drive, requiring credibility with CTOs and VPs of Engineering and the ability to translate successful delivery into expanded US accounts. You will work with delivery pods and Anthropic field teams to support client engagements while not working in isolation.

Indicium AI is seeking a Forward Deployed Software Engineer to help establish our US presence from New York. What You Will Do - Lead AI-Native Transformation: Audit enterprise workflows and design target architectures leveraging Claude models, Claude Code, custom MCP servers, agentic tooling, and automated CI/CD pipelines. - Co-Engineer in Production: Embed alongside client teams and Anthropic technical teams to refactor codebases and roll out AI-augmented practices directly in live pipelines. - Establish & Scale US Accounts: Serve as the trusted technical partner for US executive stakeholders, driving local market growth by using successful delivery to spot new high-value enterprise problems. - Scale Practice Playbooks: Codify patterns, tools, and best practices from US engagements to expand Indicium AI's global playbook and mentor client champion developers.
