BUILD Renewables, LLC is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead engineering strategy, design development, technical risk management, constructability reviews, and engineering support for utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects across development, preconstruction, and execution. This role provides technical leadership to Preconstruction, Estimating, Procurement, and Project Execution teams to ensure projects are designed, priced, procured, and executed in alignment with customer requirements, company standards, and project objectives.

This role provides technical leadership to Preconstruction, Estimating, Procurement, and Project Execution teams to ensure projects are designed, priced, procured, and executed in alignment with customer requirements, company standards, and project objectives.
Key responsibilities: - Lead engineering activities across development, estimating, procurement, and construction execution. - Serve as the engineering subject matter expert for development and preconstruction, providing recommendations to support project decisions, risk assessments, estimate development, procurement strategies, and vendor selection. - Lead technical reviews of RFIs/RFPs, technical specifications, and owner requirements to identify scope gaps, design risks, execution constraints, and commercial impacts. - Translate customer requirements into executable engineering designs, technical assumptions, and project execution strategies that support estimating, procurement, vendor evaluations, and project pursuits. - Develop conceptual, preliminary, and detailed utility-scale solar and battery energy storage designs using standard engineering tools. - Perform site layout development and optimization for solar and BESS projects, incorporating civil, electrical, environmental, permitting, interconnection, and operational
