Luxembourg National Data Service (LNDS)
Luxembourg National Data Service (LNDS), a government-related entity, is seeking a DevOps Engineer for subsidy projects on a fixed-term 24-month contract in Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg. You will join the Technology team in an agile environment and help improve IT solutions across European initiatives such as SCAILED and EuropeAI, focusing on trusted AI, data governance, and public digital infrastructure. Responsibilities include implementing and maintaining tools at European and national levels, infrastructure as code, designing and maintaining scalable CI/CD pipelines, ensuring reliability, security by design, monitoring and troubleshooting infrastructure and services, documenting architecture and deployment procedures, coordinating with stakeholders, and occasionally traveling within Europe. Requirements include: MSc in a related scientific/technological/engineering field; 0–5 years of experience with web applications deployment and Linux system administration; basic knowledge of cybersecurity threats; familiarity with Git, GitHub/GitLab; containerization (Docker/Podman) and provisioning tools (Ansible); experience with Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows systems; basic shell/bash knowledge; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools; strong communication skills in English; working knowledge of one of Luxembourg's official languages (French, German, or Luxembourgish) is a plus.
