Peratera is a UK-based fintech company authorised by the FCA as an Electronic Money Institution. As Lead Product Designer, you will own the end-to-end design of our Digital Wallet product and help define how design is practiced across the company. You’ll transform complex payment and financial workflows into simple, intuitive experiences while working closely with Product and Engineering to deliver products customers genuinely enjoy using. Responsibilities include owning the end-to-end design process for the Digital Wallet—from discovery and user flows to production-ready UI; designing intuitive experiences for merchants, administrators, and internal operations teams; simplifying payment, financial, and compliance workflows into clear journeys; building and evolving Peratera’s design system and component library in Figma; collaborating with Product Managers and Engineers throughout the product lifecycle; planning and conducting user research, usability testing, and customer interviews as needed; representing design in product discussions and contributing to product strategy and roadmap decisions. Requirements include 7+ years of experience in Product Design with experience leading complex products or end-to-end design initiatives; experience designing B2B SaaS, fintech, payments, banking, or other data-rich products; strong UX skills with the ability to simplify complex workflows and information architecture; advanced Figma expertise including design systems, components, variables, prototyping, and developer handoff; a portfolio demonstrating strong UX thinking, interaction
