The Quality Engineer role is based full-time on-site at our manufacturing facility in Spanish Fork, Utah, with no routine travel. As a Quality Engineer, you will investigate quality issues, lead root-cause analysis using standard methods (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone), and support the design and deployment of automated test fixtures with basic scripting (Python, PLCs). You will maintain PFMEA, establish testing protocols and acceptance criteria, and monitor production data to identify trends in yield and defects. You will work to optimize line efficiency and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards, while collaborating with Manufacturing Engineering and Hardware Design to define acceptance criteria and support New Product Introductions. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Automation Engineering (or equivalent), 2–5 years of manufacturing experience with hands-on exposure to automated test equipment and quality systems, and practical knowledge of SPC and Six Sigma. CAD experience (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and familiarity with automation tools or scripting (PLC programming, Python) are preferred, along with a solid understanding of electrical circuits, wiring harnesses, and mechanical assemblies.
