Aruna Resort & Villas is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support the resort's daily financial operations on-site at Ambergris Caye, Belize. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing payments, supporting purchasing and receiving activities, and ensuring timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and confidentiality. Responsibilities include uploading and managing required financial reports, processing payments and reconciling all methods of payment, supporting daily purchasing and receiving activities to ensure operational efficiency, assisting with financial reporting and recordkeeping, performing accounting calculations and analyses to support business operations, maintaining documentation and financial records, and collaborating with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions. The role requires maintaining confidentiality of financial, employee, and guest information and supporting special projects and additional administrative duties as assigned.
