Coral Care is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our engineering team and help build the technical foundation of our platform. You will work across the stack, from the React frontend used by families and providers to the Node.js services powering our marketplace, including the matching logic, clinical workflows, and AI-driven systems that support care delivery and decision-making. You will own specific domains within our API and data layer, drive migrations toward a modern architecture, and collaborate with operations, clinical, and go-to-market teams to solve real problems for families and therapists. This role is hybrid and based in New York City, with time split between the NYC office and remote work. We cannot sponsor visas for this role; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. What you’ll do: own domains in our API/data layer, implement them independently, contribute to the migration to a TypeScript/Node.js monorepo on AWS, help build the matching/marketplace logic, work with infrastructure-as-code on AWS CDK, uphold engineering practices (testing, code reviews, design docs), and ensure HIPAA-compliant data handling.
