AWS Infrastructure Services seeks a results-oriented engineer to join the Water Infrastructure Team (ADC). You will execute water-based cooling infrastructure projects in the US East region, collaborating with internal teams (real estate, engineering, construction, commissioning, operations) and external partners (engineering consultants, general contractors, water treatment vendors, local utilities). You will drive feasibility studies, design, and delivery of infrastructure that meets regulatory standards and emphasizes operational efficiency, reliability, safety, and cost reduction.

Key responsibilities: - Manage planning, design, and execution of water and wastewater infrastructure projects that support water delivery to data centers. - Negotiate terms and oversee contracts and connection agreements related to domestic, fire, cooling water supply, and wastewater infrastructure. - Engineer, design, construct, and monitor water treatment/operations projects; optimize design criteria for scaling deployment across North America. - Manage multiple projects; monitor reliability metrics and build system resiliency for handoff to regional operations. - Serve as central point of contact for water and wastewater treatment and disinfection systems; maintain relationships with utility partners. - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and municipal requirements and building codes; coordinate with local water utilities for site utility requirements and inspections. -
