Overview Genpact is seeking a Tech Lead for Infrastructure Services to lead DevOps, public cloud, and automation initiatives in an enterprise-scale environment. The role involves working as part of the WebOps Automation-Engineering team (4–6 members) and collaborating with customers, clients, and technical leads to understand requirements, identify improvement opportunities, plan and execute changes, and deliver measurable outcomes.
Tech Lead - Infrastructure Services
Overview Genpact is seeking a Tech Lead for Infrastructure Services to lead DevOps, public cloud, and automation initiatives in an enterprise-scale environment. The role involves working as part of the WebOps Automation-Engineering team (4–6 members) and collaborating with customers, clients, and technical leads to understand requirements, identify improvement opportunities, plan and execute changes, and deliver measurable outcomes.
Responsibilities - Lead automation tasks using shell, Bash, Python, Perl, and related tools; develop Jenkins pipelines for builds and releases on AWS and Azure; leverage Chef, Ansible, Terraform, and Packer for provisioning and configuration management. - Manage code in Git; automate routine operations, builds, and patching; restructure scripts to support containerization with Docker/Kubernetes environments. - Build and maintain cloud core services (VMs, storage, networking, IAM, serverless, Lambda, CloudFormation); ensure security and compliance in cloud deployments. - Collaborate in an Agile/sprint environment; write SOPs, Readme files, and change logs; provide demos and status updates to leads. - The ideal candidate will be based in the United States, with a hybrid work arrangement, and possess strong knowledge of AWS and/or Azure platforms.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field. - AWS Certified Solutions Architect – P
