Colossal Contracting, LLC is seeking a Financial Controller to lead the finance and accounting teams. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of accounting experience in the federal contracting space and an MBA or Master's degree in accounting or finance is preferred. The position will be hybrid: primarily remote with monthly travel to our Annapolis, MD headquarters. The Financial Controller will head the accounting department and be responsible for the company's financial statements, general ledger, budgeting, treasury, inventory, procurement, job costing, payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable, tax compliance, and related analyses. Additional duties include maintaining internal controls, conducting audits, preparing budgets, analyzing variances, and supporting strategic decision making with financial reports and KPI analysis. This role requires strong analytical, detail-oriented, and organized skills, plus effective communication, and experience managing accounting staff. Travel is limited to occasional trips to Annapolis; schedule and hours are standard business hours.
