The Generalist will handle basic HR tasks and provide team member support while maintaining confidentiality and upholding the organization’s Vision and Mission. This role collaborates with all departments to ensure the Yark message is presented positively and consistently. Responsibilities include supporting HR processes and reporting on topics such as turnover, benefits enrollment, recruitment, workers’ compensation, benefits administration, and incident processing; performing clerical HR duties; and assisting with HR data and documentation. Qualifications include strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; the ability to learn and train others on various software platforms; basic understanding of HR functions; proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat; a valid driver’s license and clean driving record; comfort interacting with people in person and over the phone; and a competent, self-starting, organized problem-solver.
