Haley & Aldrich is seeking a Geotechnical Project Manager to lead geotechnical infrastructure projects in Bedford, New Hampshire. In this leadership role, you will work with highly skilled professionals on a variety of design and construction projects, with a focus on marine and transportation infrastructure. You will understand client needs, develop work scopes and cost estimates, and manage financial and technical aspects of projects. You will oversee the geotechnical field observation and testing programs, conduct analyses, and prepare recommendations for deep foundations, embankments, ground improvement, and retaining wall design. You will prepare project deliverables such as reports, plans, and specifications, and communicate effectively with clients and regulatory agencies. You will mentor team members and contribute to a collaborative, results-driven environment. Requirements include a BS in Civil Engineering (MS in Geotechnical preferred), PE licensure in NH and/or MA or ability to reciprocity within six months, 8+ years in geotechnical engineering including site investigation, laboratory testing, analyses and construction support, and at least 2 years of project management experience. Familiarity with NAVFAC, AASHTO, state transportation guidelines, and alternative delivery/design-build procurement is preferred. Proficiency in technical report writing, strong communication, organization, and computer skills are essential; OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPPER is preferred.
