Position: Associate Legal Editor Organization: World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) – PCT Legal Publication Unit, PCT User Resources Section, PCT Legal and User Relations Division, Patents and Technology Sector.
Overview: The Associate Legal Editor contributes to the accurate, coherent, and timely publication of PCT legal texts and related documents in multiple languages. The incumbent supports the preparation, review, and dissemination of PCT legal materials and collaborates with colleagues across the PCT Legal and International Affairs Department and the Patents and Technology Sector, as well as with PCT Contracting States and Offices.

Key duties: • Assist the Head of the Unit in developing, updating, and maintaining PCT legal texts, legal resources, and information materials; contribute to modernization of publication processes. • Prepare, edit, review, and update PCT legal and related texts to ensure accuracy, clarity, coherence, and conformity with editorial standards and the PCT framework, including the Regulations, Administrative Instructions, Guidelines, and other instruments, in English and French. • Coordinate preparation, consultation, editing, and publication of official translations in other languages; arrange for further review by legal experts as needed. • Prepare, edit, update, and coordinate publication of amendments to the PCT and its Regulations, as well as related agreements and historical materials. • Check spelling, language, and accuracy of other publications issued by the Section (Official Notices,
