Solidgate is seeking a Frontend Engineer to join the Alternative Payment Methods (APM) team in Ukraine. As the first dedicated frontend hire for this team, you will build a frontend from scratch to support PayPal, Klarna, MB WAY, Blik, and other APMs, across Olimp (internal admin panel), Hub (merchant portal), and the payer-facing checkout. You will collaborate with Go backend engineers to shape API contracts and establish frontend patterns, tooling, and development practices that will guide the team for years to come. Responsibilities include shipping a standalone SPA powering the APM experience in Hub and Olimp, integrating new payment methods into the Payment Form, and improving the UI/UX for merchants configuring APM setups. Requirements include 1+ years of professional React and TypeScript experience, the ability to read API contracts, and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset. Desirable extras include Protobuf/Buf or gRPC, Node.js RPC layers (tRPC), payments/fintech exposure, and experience establishing frontend architecture in a new team.
