About the role

Multitude is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Assistant Accountant to support our finance team with daily accounting and administrative activities in an international fintech environment. This hybrid role is based in Berlin, Germany.

Key Responsibilities: - Upload, post and transfer incoming invoices, credit notes and debit notes in Workday. - Calculate and post accounts payable accruals. - Book employee travel claims and verify travel allowances. - Support employees with recording business trips and related expenses. - Add and update supplier and employee information in Workday through Formalize. - Assist accountants with daily accounting and administrative tasks. - Complete other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor or accounting team.

Candidate Requirements: - Education in accounting, finance, economics or a related field. - Previous experience in accounting, accounts payable or financial administration is an advantage. - Basic understanding of invoices, accruals and accounting processes. - Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office applications. - Experience with Workday or another ERP/accounting system is an advantage. - Good written and spoken English. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Good organisational and time-management skills. - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. - Helpful and professional communication style when supporting employees and suppliers. - Willingness to learn and develop within an international finance team.
