You will manage a portfolio of capital projects ranging from $500k to $15M, with most projects in brewing/beverage processing. Responsibilities include initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling 5–15 projects concurrently; defining project scope and schedule with input from the project team and consulting engineering firms to achieve a budget with +/-10% confidence; presenting the project business case including benefits, scope, financial analysis, and schedule; developing and issuing Requests for Proposals to our consultants/engineering firms to begin design efforts that drive execution; coordinating with consultants and construction managers to issue bids, purchase equipment and materials, and construct the project; identifying Value Engineering opportunities to deliver quality results at an optimal cost while minimizing operational interruptions; controlling scope, schedule, cost, and quality with safety as the utmost priority; maintaining monthly forecasts of expenditures and final Estimate at Completion; conducting start-up audits, validating performance guarantees on installed equipment, and documenting project completion.
