This position carries profit and loss responsibility and serves as the primary point of contact for contractual, commercial, and technical coordination with the Owner, while working closely with Project Superintendents, Engineers, and the Traffic Division Manager to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and on budget. The Traffic Project Manager will write, review, and approve purchase orders and subcontracts, manage budgets, and regularly update cost and revenue projections. Responsibilities include involvement in means and methods, safety planning, scheduling, and budgeting. Extensive knowledge of Department of Transportation projects and heavy civil construction is required.
