Overview: The Account Executive is responsible for identifying leads and proactively prospecting and selling Republic Services’ full suite of waste management and recycling services within an assigned market (Phoenix, Arizona). The role requires engaging with prospects, delivering sales presentations, and closing new business to meet revenue targets.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

Identify viable leads, manage prospects, and acquire new commercial, industrial, and recycling business to achieve revenue goals.
Respond to leads promptly and document activities in Salesforce; schedule and deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients; follow up with key decision-makers to close sales.
Conduct regular cold-calling and prospecting activities to establish initial appointments with decision-makers.
Monitor market behavior and competitive trends to anticipate customer needs; maintain current knowledge of services, pricing, and solutions.
Maintain thorough knowledge of the company’s offerings and pricing; upsell and cross-sell services including total waste stream management solutions as appropriate.
Complete required contracts, reports, and paperwork in a timely manner in accordance with company policy.
Meet with Sales Manager to review pipeline, performance, and key relationships; build relationships and increase company visibility through events as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum of 2 years of direct selling experience in a customer-facing role.
Valid driver’s license.
