This role leads a Linux on-premise infrastructure team of more than 10 engineers, responsible for the stability, monitoring, and evolution of the client’s critical infrastructure based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). The successful candidate will define technical standards and ensure the operational continuity of critical services. Key responsibilities include team leadership with KPI definition, task planning and shift coordination; ensuring compliance with standards, automation, patching, documentation, and hardening; supervising the client’s critical infrastructure operations; driving an automation strategy to manage configurations and deployments at scale; and reporting progress to leadership while coordinating with other areas and departments. Technical requirements include strong RHEL experience with RHCE or RHCA certifications preferred, 5+ years of experience, automation with Ansible (Ansible Tower), virtualization with VMware vSphere, patch lifecycle management, experience with ticketing tools, Linux cluster experience (Veritas, etc.).
