As the Aerospace Transparencies Project Manager, you will plan, execute and close technical engineering projects related to the continuous improvement of aerospace transparencies for fixed-wing aircraft and rotorcraft applications (military and commercial). This is a fully onsite, fixed-term role based in Sylmar, CA, anticipated to last 9 months, reporting to the Aerospace Site Lead, Transparencies Program Manager. Responsibilities include leading aerospace transparency projects from concept through production and sustainment, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and company goals; developing detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations; maintaining clear communication with internal teams, customers, and suppliers regarding status, milestones, and changes; coordinating with engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, R&D and procurement to ensure seamless program execution; supporting process improvement initiatives to enhance project management practices, development and/or manufacturing efficiency; monitoring project budgets and costs; identifying project risks and developing mitigation strategies; ensuring compliance with customer requirements, industry standards (FAA, EASA, MIL-STD) and internal quality requirements; preparing and presenting regular program status reports, including financial performance, schedule adherence, and risk assessments to senior management.
