Amped Kitchens is a real estate operating company that owns and operates commercial food production facilities in Los Angeles and Chicago. Since 2015, we’ve pioneered the large-scale, multi-tenant commercial kitchen model, serving CPG brands, restaurant groups, caterers, meal-subscription companies, and other food businesses producing at scale. Unlike a traditional landlord, we combine real estate with hands-on property operations and client service. After more than a decade of operating and refining our model, we’re strengthening our leadership team and formalizing our financial and operating processes to prepare for disciplined growth. We’re looking for a Controller to lead the accounting function and help us do that well. The Role: You’ll own Amped’s accounting function and oversee payroll and financial administration. You’ll report directly to the CEO and work closely with our fractional CFO, Director of Facilities, Tenant Coordinators, and outside accounting and audit partners. The near-term priority is to improve the month-end and quarter-end close, financial reporting, controls, data quality, and property-level accounting processes across the company.
