CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Cloud - Analytics Platform to join the data engineering team. The role focuses on owning and shaping a hyper-scale data lake that centralizes data collected by the Falcon platform to enable analytics, machine learning, and threat hunting for internal and external customers. You will work primarily with Java microservices, Spark/Scala data processing (and some Flink), Kubernetes, and AWS native tooling, and you will contribute across the full stack—from data processing and storage to scalable pipelines, to frameworks and tools that expose data for analytics. A key responsibility is owning our new graph database and helping guide its development. This role is based in the New York City metro area and typically requires 1–3 days in-office per week. The NYC office is currently under development/expansion, so many team members will continue remote work for the next 18–24 months. What you’ll do: Write fault-tolerant Java code within Apache Spark, Flink, and OLAP/Time Series databases to support platform products used by customers for querying event pipelines and extracting insights on active threat trends.
