Talent Acquisition Specialist – Contract, On-site, Fort Wayne, Indiana. This role manages the full-cycle recruitment process for exempt, non-exempt, technical, professional, and leadership positions. You will partner with hiring managers and HR to understand workforce needs and develop recruiting strategies, source, screen, interview (phone, virtual, and in-person), conduct reference checks, coordinate screenings, and facilitate employment offers. Build and maintain talent pipelines using traditional and innovative sourcing methods—including networking events, job fairs, professional associations, social media, and online platforms—and collaborate with sourcing resources to attract diverse candidate pools. Manage internal transfers, promotions, and mobility; maintain regular communication with candidates and hiring teams; guide managers on recruiting best practices and employment regulations; ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and affirmative action requirements. Maintain accurate candidate records within the ATS and support onboarding and new-hire transitions to ensure a positive candidate experience. Develop relationships with industry organizations and professional networks; contribute to diversity recruiting initiatives; identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, workflows, and candidate experience.
