Responsibilities
Forecast annual and monthly goals for the Internet department and manage online lead generation
Coordinate Internet promotions and advertising
Research auto-buying services online and liaise with services the dealership uses to promote its site or advertise
Update the dealership website frequently to attract new and repeat visitors
Explain, implement, and enforce dealership policies emphasizing customer satisfaction and a positive dealership image
Ensure proper follow up of all potential buyers by developing, implementing, and monitoring a prospecting and sales control system
Promote teamwork in a customer-focused sales environment throughout the sales, delivery and follow-up process
Follow up on all Internet leads daily
Build rapport with customers to establish a base of referrals
Provide training and support to the sales staff on Phone & Internet skills and assist in closing sales
Help manage online inventory and incentives
Work with third party vendors such as AutoTrader and Cars.com to generate and boost lead counts
Prior automotive sales experience required
Be able to create and maintain customer relationships
Strong computer & phone skills (Internet, MS Outlook, CRM)
Be able to coach, develop and motivate sales staff
