About the role

Scalable Capital is seeking a Frontend Engineer to help build and evolve a native application that supports internal trading workflows, with a strong focus on reliability, security, and performance. This role involves working across the full application stack from a React and TypeScript frontend to a Rust-based core backend for frontend, with ownership of real-time data flows, authentication, release automation, and operational quality. This position is based in Munich, Germany, and offers Remote OK work arrangement.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

Build and maintain a native cross-platform application using React, TypeScript, Vite, and Rust.
Develop user-facing features with emphasis on usability, performance, and maintainability.
Design and evolve Rust logic for authentication, IPC contracts, service integrations, and real-time stream handling.
Build and maintain streaming data flows, including throttling, backpressure, and multi-window consistency.
Maintain secure authentication and authorization using OAuth2/OIDC and Keycloak.
Own and improve CI/CD workflows in GitHub Actions (validation, coverage, packaging, signing, release publishing).
Support release and delivery workflows across Windows and macOS.
Work with AWS services (S3, IAM, OIDC access, secrets handling).
Improve observability through logging, metrics, runtime diagnostics, and release visibility.
Collaborate on architecture, testing strategy, and engineering standards across frontend, backend, and operations.
University degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or eq
