Kepak is seeking an Export Controller to join the busy Logistics office in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales, United Kingdom. This is a full-time, permanent role with a competitive salary working Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with some evenings required. Role Purpose: Manage the end-to-end export process, coordinating exports to ensure timely deliveries. You will work closely with customers, freight forwarders and internal teams to ensure efficient and smooth operations, ensure all company export control policy processes are adhered to, and provide advice on Export Control by collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to maintain compliance. You will be the official point of contact with export control regulatory agencies. You will monitor and improve processes and internal work instructions to ensure compliance, undertake continuous internal compliance checks, and support compliance visits and audits. The role requires taking responsibility for accurate recording and sharing of information, collating and controlling all export documentation, and liaising with relevant internal customers and third-party transportation for global and European export order creation. You will also provide on-site stock control and logistics administrative support as required.
