Role overview: As a DevOps Engineer in London, you will tackle platform and deployment challenges through pragmatic engineering and automation. You will build and operate scalable, self-service infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and blockchain platforms, including node provisioning, network deployment, and lifecycle management. You will optimise build and release pipelines, improve system resilience, and ensure traditional and blockchain infrastructure can scale with business needs. You will collaborate closely with Backend Engineering and SRE teams, focusing on infrastructure as code, developer experience, and operational scalability, owning the reliability and performance of blockchain nodes and supporting systems.
Key responsibilities: Build fault-tolerant, geographically distributed infrastructure; support multiple data centres with replication, sharding, auto-balancing and failover. Deploy services with strict availability requirements in a large-scale environment, working with other engineers to meet current and future demand. Develop and maintain infrastructure management code (DevOps, IaC) using tools like Ansible and Terraform. Wo
