We are hiring a Senior Full-Stack Software Developer to join the Falcon Scrum team on Deutsche Telekom's Gigabit project. The role primarily focuses on backend development but will involve frontend work as the backlog requires. You will design and implement backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot, develop and maintain REST APIs in line with Deutsche Telekom IT REST Guidelines (OpenAPI specifications, versioning, and breaking change management), and work on process orchestration using BPMN engines such as Camunda 7/8 or jBPM. You will integrate systems via REST APIs and event-driven messaging using Kafka or AMQ, apply resilience patterns (retries, idempotency, circuit breakers, timeouts) and ensure observability through logging, metrics, monitoring, and distributed tracing. You will also contribute to frontend tasks using Angular, translate UI/UX designs into working features, and participate in code reviews, testing (unit and integration), and automated vulnerability scanning. The technology stack includes Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, Maven, GitLab, PostgreSQL, Sonar, Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, Docker, Kubernetes, Argo, Lens, Camunda/BPMN, and AWS knowledge is a plus. This role operates in a SAFe/Agile environment with development and QA in Slovakia and Product Owner/Process Designer in Germany, with international travel at least once per year and release on-call duties as needed.
