What We’re Looking For: Engineer I, Software Engineer will support a Space Development Agency (SDA) project. As a Software Engineer on the SDA program, you will gain experience in software development and maintenance used to monitor, schedule, and operate a constellation of satellites. You will collaborate within a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality software deliverables on time and within the larger development effort.
Security: This role requires an active/current Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one. A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active. U.S. citizenship is required.
What You’ll Do: - Work collaboratively with your team to develop and enhance software related to the SDA project - Assist in developing optimized code for both scalability and performance - Work within the Agile/Scrum framework (Atlassian tool suite desired) - Support efforts in creating and/or maintaining build environments for software products - Plan and execute software releases per stakeholder/program schedules and budgets - Update issue/feature data in Atlassian Proj
