AI Copywriter – Sport
Role summary: Reporting to the AI Content & Ops Lead, the AI Copywriter is responsible for delivering SEO- and GEO-optimised copy that enhances visibility for Sports Direct. Using AI tools alongside your writing expertise, you will create high-quality, engaging content that converts, including product descriptions, product landing pages, and long-form editorial. You will work closely with the Content Team and the SEO & GEO Team to support the wider content strategy and the Sports Direct content calendar.

Using AI tools alongside your writing expertise, you will create high-quality, engaging content that converts, including product descriptions, product landing pages, and long-form editorial. Key responsibilities: - Produce SEO- and GEO-optimised copy across Sports Direct assets, including product landing pages and brand pages. - Edit and proofread AI-generated content to ensure accuracy, tone, and brand alignment. - Collaborate with the SEO & GEO team to implement the broader strategy and adapt to industry updates. - Partner with the Content Team to drive ideation and execution of content initiatives. - Create long-form SEO-led and GEO-led content for the Sports Direct content hub, contributing evergreen and demand-led ideas to drive organic traffic and citations. - Support the AI Content & Ops Lead in refining AI-generated long-form content to meet targets. - Assist with product description creation and quality control of the AI product description tool.
