AMD is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead a multi-discipline engineering team from proof of concept to execution for next-generation AMD data center system solutions. You will coordinate hardware, firmware, thermal, and mechanical engineering efforts to define, design, and verify system-level products, and collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure technical deliverables are met. You will partner with cross-functional teams across product design, manufacturing engineering, firmware, and software to develop cohesive development plans and resolve design issues that impact program milestones. The ideal candidate has experience driving hardware- and software-enabled product development, a strong understanding of AI technologies (machine learning, NLP, computer vision), and a track record of delivering large-scale programs on time and within budget. Responsibilities include leading design optimization, guiding vendors, managing risk, and presenting options to executive leadership, as well as fostering effective communication with customers and partners. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (MBA or PMI PMP certification is a plus), experience with hardware development from foundry to platform level, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced, matrixed environment. This is an on-site role based in Austin, Texas, United States, not eligible for visa sponsorship.
