Commissioning Project Manager
EEI is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager to lead commissioning, quality assurance, and performance testing for critical facilities, including data centers and healthcare environments. This role oversees all commissioning activities from planning and design review through functional performance testing and project turnover, while managing budgets, schedules, resources, and client relationships and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure systems meet project specifications and client expectations.
Locations include: Atlanta, GA; South Bend, IN; Columbus, OH; Jeffersonville, OH; Sterling, VA; Montgomery City, MO. This is a hybrid role with travel up to 50% to project sites throughout the region and is based in the United States.
Essential Responsibilities: - Lead commissioning projects through planning, design, construction, testing, and project closeout. - Manage project budgets, schedules, staffing plans, and overall project performance. - Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, design teams, and project stakeholders. - Lead commissioning activities including startup verification, functional performance testing, integrated systems testing, and troubleshooting. - Review design documents, specifications, submittals, and sequences of operation to ensure alignment with project objectives. - Identify project risks, manage issues proactively, and develop effective solutions that keep projects moving forward. - Mentor and support junior commissioning staff while contributing to EEI's culture of
