Lead Software Engineer - Full Stack

Capital One is seeking a Lead Software Engineer - Full Stack to lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with experience in distributed microservices and full-stack systems. You will mentor engineers, stay current with technology trends, and collaborate with digital product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions that empower millions of customers.

Lead multiple technology projects and a development team to meet regulatory requirements and business needs.
Stay current with tech trends, contribute to internal and external technology communities, and mentor engineers.

Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of software engineering experience.
At least 1 year of cloud computing experience (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Preferred: Master's degree; 7+ years in JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go; 3+ years cloud experience; 4+ years open-source frameworks; 1+ year people management; 2+ years Agile; experience with AI tooling is a plus.
