We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the team responsible for Zooplus Club, our membership and loyalty platform serving millions of customers across more than 25 European markets. In a cross functional Agile team, you will design, build and operate scalable backend services powering loyalty, rewards and engagement. You will work closely with Product Managers, Designers and fellow engineers to shape technical solutions that deliver real business impact on a modern cloud native platform. What you will do: Design, build and maintain scalable backend services using Kotlin; Develop APIs, event driven services and microservices powering our loyalty platform; Own features end to end from design to production support; Contribute to the evolution of our event driven architecture and cloud native platform; Collaborate closely with Product Managers and engineering teams to deliver high quality solutions; Write clean, well tested, maintainable code and participate in code reviews and pair programming; Monitor, troubleshoot and continuously improve application performance, reliability and scalability; Help shape engineering best practices, tooling and development processes; Embrace a DevOps culture where teams build, deploy and operate the services they own.
