You will develop production-ready GenAI features across Google surfaces such as Search, Commerce, Ads, Chrome, and YouTube, and scale multimodal GenAI to production-level quality using Google's infrastructure to deliver highly customized user experiences.
Responsibilities include writing product or system development code; collaborating with peers and stakeholders through design and code reviews to ensure best practices; contributing to documentation and educational content; triaging issues and debugging; and implementing solutions in one or more ML areas, utilizing ML infrastructure, and contributing to model optimization and data processing.
Qualifications: - Minimum: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience; 2 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree; 1 year of experience with ML infrastructure (model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, data processing, debugging). - Preferred: Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field; 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms; experience with image processing, computer vision, or ML applications.
Compensation: US: $147000 - $211000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
Locations: Mountain View, California; New York, New York, United States. Work arrangement: On-site.
